Question about playable charcters

Hello, I'm a bit curious if one of the devs or someone that knows could answer me how many and/or which player characters will be available? Will there be new ones or will there be recurring ones like Oz, Brian, Zoe and especially Noodles? Is there any info on what kind of creatures or who the new player characters will be if its new-new ones or who it might be if it's recurring ones? Personally I really hope for Noodles and Oz to be playable again!

The game will launch with the four usual player characters: Oz, Amira, Vicky and Brian.
More might be added as DLC.
I wouldn't expect Noodles to be available as a player character given he has a major role in the game already in the Noodles stand.

Awe, that's a disappointing but I guess not unexpected. I didn't realise Noodles was a major role. Hope the dlc characters have someone equivalent to Zoe, Oz or Noodles then. Thanks for the answer.

probablly not since 2 dlc characters have roles at locations the noodle stand and Barn

As was said, the usual colour crew of four will be in the base game from the start.

The recent Kickstarter update confirmed at launch there will be four PC DLCs on release. Two returning characters, two new ones. They haven't said who yet, and they'll each be a bit more expensive than Zoe DLC for Camp was, since there's so much art in them.

I wouldn't expect anyone who's already shown to be in the main game (including Sawyer, Noodles and Zoe). Also, wouldn't be surprised if they do more in the future.

Zoe has been confirmed to be one of the two returning characters on their Twitter. Guessing you just won't be able to have her as a hitchhiker in a run when someone's playing as her.

Yeah, I stand corrected lol. It was a surprise to be sure but more art of her is always welcome

They've recently announced a couple new playable characters as DLC
as in brand new characters
Zoe is officially DLC
I dont know about the 4 they added with Camp tho

I know there wasn't a workshop for camp, but seeing the potential for how big the character select can get in road trip, I genuinely think it would be cool if the community would make more player characters via the steam workshop if they ever decided to implement it.
