new game +

i have a question: someone has started a new game+? how's working? if i restart the game i lose all the cars and money? i can obtain something new or not? is more difficult by a normal game? explain all of this in the comments pls and tell me if is convenient start a new game+ or not and why

It's harder – AI difficulty is maxed out, you now get injured in race and if you thowed out of window too much, you'll die (get forcibly hospitalized, lose the race). You now pay for Mihalych's injuries 100$-1000$ per race (you can not pay, but it cheaper to pay than die) and also some characters are different (or is it an update?). Sponsor's paint now don't give free repair althrough it still in the description

thanks for the explain! all of this sound so creepy... later all the pain for won that 100% career i dunno if i want repeat all of this for... nothing more of a most high prices(? no no i will just if the ng+ don't exist for me x'D
so what about your money and cars? you can keep those or not? and the costs are more high?

Costs are the same I think. You won't keep cars and anything from completed game (but you keep unlocks), but the game will give you 5 half-upgraded cars (and you can sell them).
Also, the skin for the player affects the damage you are getting (for your health), if I understood correctly.

I tried it. So the gameplay is:
1. You play the campain
2. Enemies is too OP, so you win only in monoraces
3. Your car is destroyed
4. You can't repair it, only sell it for pennies
5. You can't make money out of races, becouse obviously you can't take better places with worse car
6. You try to play roulette
7. You win several times in roulete
8. You get in the ellumination race ("escape") and die, sp: -500$ for participation; -1000$ for dying; -1000$ for healing = lose all money you won
9. You try again, got in the "escape" again, but with S-hit car
10. You delete the game

I suggest devs to at least remove "escape" form roulette, becouse it's 90% means you'll lose A LOT, even if you'll get second place

Well, and the second thing is you can't see what you're buying in the wreckyard. You don't see how much it cost to build a car this hull, you can't see the stats and cost of fully upgraded hull, what means a lot becouse it's a huge difference. If you'll buy wrong car, you lose the whole game.

I wish at selecting NG+ button it takes me to the save manager to select another save slot, but the regular campaign. Or overwrite if I want.

bruuuuh! ok definitely i will NOT try the ng+ unless the devs add a patch where you gain more money and create a real new game+ where you can keep all the cars and money from previous save, i totally refuse lose it all for a lousy skin, i have suffered enough in the normal game already for finish all to 100% and dead out too...

btw, the last paragraph was about the game itself, not just "new game+" mode. I'm just reread my comment and now see that from context it may look like it were relate to NG+

I regret starting NG+, I've lost all the cars that I unlocked so I can't use them in split-screen mode any more and I have to unlock the tracks all over again for split-screen too.

I understood that NG+ would be more challenging, but I didn't realise it would be this bad, medical bills (no free universal healthcare?!) and car repairs are prohibitively expensive too.

Also the different character skins have different levels of health now too, so instead of using the skins you want, you feel coerced into choosing the ones who can take the most damage instead of having fun.

Here is how to play ( New Game+ ) without deleting your old progress:

1 - C: \ Users \ Your PC Name \ AppData \ Local \ TrailOut \ Saved \ SaveGames
2 - Back up this folder

3 - Find your save files
They are split into 2 files and their name is based on your save slot in game

• "Save0" or "Save1" or "Save2"
  
• "CloudTemp0" or "CloudTemp1" or "CloudTemp2"

4 - Copy "Save" and "CloudTemp"... then paste them in the same folder
5 - Rename the new copied files with a different number at the end, 0 or 1 or 2

6 - Now you have two save slots with the same progress. Enjoy
