This. Too bad steam isn't more honorable and in favor of it's customers. In order to even get a steam store page, devs should meet a strict deadline release window or be forced to sell their game at 50% discount for 6 months. See too much free advertising and grifting on steam.
One big issue on steam is that there is zero accountability for devs who create early access junk and the abandonment which often follows.
And if its never comes out, nothing of value is lost. I dont care if 10 more games like "The Last Night" and "Replaced" will pop out, as long as at least single good one gets released. Even if The Last Night never sees the light, its trailer inspired a lot of other devs to try out and make their own game with the same/similar style.
Sounds like a new digital trend; The Last Night Limbo.
