The german unit I think the correct name is Witzig, or I am wrong?

I remember this developer had their own site for selling these games. Now I looked at Avalon Digital and it tells me to buy on Steam. I want a different way to buy Avalon games without using Steam.

(Moved from dead Technical Issues sub forum) What's the best way to proceed here? I think I've rounded up the usual suspects but nothing seems to correct the problem. After each freeze/lockup, I validate local files and the same message is returned; "6 files have failed to validate and will be reacquired." How would I get a crash report to you? When I finally get this game down I will probably like it, but I do not plan to make any future purchases from this publisher. The reason is the lack of an actual interactive tutorial. I loathe having to watch youtube videos to play a game, which is essentially what you have to do for this one. Interactive tutorials, and tutorial scenarios, have been around since the 80's, and for good reason. They allow a new player the opportunity to both learn and practice at the same time.
