Store page and one of reviews state, the game has online-coop. Since steam did remove those tags for steam-play-together it should be somewhere there. ;)
Back to my original question: Is it real online-coop or just splitscreen on 2 PC not in the same room?
Hmmm that would be even worse.
I would also like to know.
The second player is can be invited from "bonfire" in this game its called Terminal. He is only in his hologram appearance, his own story is not progressing and his character is also not progresing... There is also shared inventory from the first players, so the second player can only use his items.
In online you have your normal screen. But game is buggy. I lost internet connection every time i run game. Also got bugs with no sound etc..
Bonus: strange that no mod or dev answers questions on launch day.
That is a steam-problem. The tags are as they are and especialy the retroactive part is nothing they care to do somethng about.
At least we now have coop and online-coop (for all newer games, tbh). Still there needs to be better destinctions in the future.
