What is the gameplay like

I am not shure what exactly this is going to be. A linear Hack & Slay. An RPG with a World to explore like Elex? Can someone tell me, might pick it up later. :)

It's not an open world. Linear souls-like, with the option to play on "story" difficulty if you're not into the punishing souls-like combat. Well, linear... your choices do make a difference.

I think I will give it a try.

I played during the beta and I liked it. Especially the story / characters / humour. There's a lot of meme potential :)
