I don't think so but you can use a weapon in your off-hand to restore it from enemies. Can't remember how I got it, but it was in the first area.

I does respectable damage too.

I got the healing orb in the first area (monastery). So I can restore health, not mana :(

There is two ways that I have found but they are TERRIBLE as it's per IRL minute
- Red Mage Set Bonus (says +3 but for me only gives 1.9 per min which is rounded down to 1)
- Flame Sword/Black Shield Set Bonus (Lowers Max Hp by 200 but increases mana regen by 1 this one actually does a full 1)

ACTIVE ways are the Mana Drainer off hand fist weapon which has a super slow attack with a super short range for a little bit of mana, in my experience, the amount of mana you get is so negligible it doesn't even cover the hp you heal using the Healing orb after trying to fist fight a mob that hits you for 1/4 of you life and chains like 5 hits and the -Plasma Shield- which has block like a normal shield but it's special action is to do the spend 5 mana to drain the enemy of like 30+ mana which can be worth it, but again the action is so slow it's hard to use, so I just find archers and stun lock them with the drainers as a mana depository, I kill everything but the archers and then come back for them ^_^

PS: Yea this is a necro but dude this game is so hard to find info on so it's better than making another post XD

if you are friendly with rats you can get the superior fire mage set which gives some regen per minute, and like the previous poster you can equip the fire sword and black shield for more. There is a late game neck item that gives 1 mana regen per minute.

The best way to get mana back is to have a weapon with damage buff, like the fire or lightning katana. For 6 mana you gain extra weapon damage for a while and it applies to the mana drainer in your off hand, can easily get back 70+ mana per hit.

Weapon damage buff doesn't buffs mana drainer\photon shield's mana draining, only damage caused.

But keep in mind that while mana drain damage is mostly low, it bypasses all the resistances, so if you're attacking highly resistant mobs, like those pesky crossbowmen, you're better off attacking them with vanilla damage mana drainer attacks.

Also, there's Luna amulet, found in the CItadel, nearing the end of the game, it increases mana regen by +1. With it, Flame Sword/Black Shield set and purple fire mage set, I had 7.9 mana regen per minute.

But yeah, that still isn't all that much. The best way to manage mana regen, at first, is to replenish it with mana drainer, later on, you can increase your mana, by increasing intelligence and by finding equipment with low cost per cast spells. For example, the Temple area has a purple Broken Orb, which does insane lightning damage, buffs lightning damage, ignores line of sight, so long as target is locked, does hit scan and costs only 1 mana! It's only downside is that it takes a lot of stamina per shot.

Next, you have Flame Orb, with fireball for 2 mana and fire staff doing the same. Flame Sword is, also, pretty ridiculous with 1 mana per swing and 4 mana per lunge.
