Along these lines, I'm interested to know if there will be at least light character customization within the game. The haircut bothered me as well. An undercut, bald, military cut... or really anything would have been better.
Although one cinematic took the helmet from me. I'd rather if that didn't happen. It seems to stay on dialogues, at least.
that haircut is so out of place in the game.
I understand what you are going for and what you are trying to say. However, the haircut is really bad and it ruins the immersion of the game. It's just too outlandish given the tone of the world. It's quite clear that the main character is out of place in the game world, I don't think we need a silly haircut to tell us that?
I'm unsure of your role within the dev team, but your sarcastic responses to people in these forums and in particular, valid feedback on a HAIRCUT, do not give me much hope that you or your team can take feedback constructively.
And sorry if my responses offend you. It is not intentional and probably due to the fact that english isn't my first language.
Reading that does make me hopeful and I'm intrigued now for sure. That being said, I suppose I was too quick to focus on the negatives. There was a lot that I saw in the demo that I actually really enjoyed too. For instance each weapon having two attacks that each were unique, the design of the Queen, the variety of gear, and the hidden items that rewarded exploration. Thank you for your responses and I wish you and the team luck.
I'm confused by the logic of creating a game where the main selling point is choice, then locking customization to something that will automatically make a lot of players feel unconnected to the character.
But there's a decent base of a game here so we'll have to see how it goes in the end.
For the Emperor!
