How To Decorate Other Areas

So, I can't figure it out. I've looked at the thing you use to decorate Starfall Meadow over and over, but can't see how to change to the other areas I've unlocked. What am I missing?

move the camera over those those areas. You can also use that stall to move the houses to a different place in the same area.

Same problem here. It doesn't work, there is no grid and the items I place (in the mountain area) don't stay.

This pretty much. Move the camera over the other areas you've unlocked and you can start to edit those. The meadow is just the default position for the editor. You can also zoom all the way out untill you can see the entire island and move your cursor over another area and zoom in on that location.
