Shop Layout
Have we figured out what people are complaining ABOUT when they say they don't like our shop layout? It's never explained to us and is a thing that just. Happens. I had thought it was because displays were 'backwards', but there's no indication given to what direction is the front of something and people always complain the most when I've unlocked a new store size and rearrange things. Feel like this should be made more clear because as is, it's just unhelpful.

You need at least two squares of empty space on all sides, does that help?

Even this doesn't seem to always work, but it does significantly reduce the number of complaints. I have made certain that all of my aisles are 2 spaces wide, that all decorations on the floor are ones that don't impede movement, and occasionally I still get a complaint here or there.

Ah okay, so just ignore them then, gotcha. A vast majority of my isles are plenty wide, so it must be my decor placement in the middle making them do that. Probably. And losing one sale an opening isn't a big enough deal to change it where I'm at, I like the way I have it decorated.

Maybe it's just coincidence, but my rate of layout complaints dropped considerably after making sure that different sized plinths are never next to each other. Have a group of large, a group of medium and a group of small, all two tiles away from any different sized plinth.

I have had complaints seemingly stop after separating a row of 5 pedestals against the northern wall into a 2 and a 3 row with one decor item betwixt them... yet the southern, western, and eastern walls all have rows of 5 or more.

I only have small and medium pedestals, and they touch on at least three walls, but not in the center floor aisles.

I genuinely don't understand this mechanic, but I'm glad to see the complaints stop. I need to sell 4 more Novellas for the fish kid and then I can just stop opening my store forever. Then when they fix Basil and Chico I can befriend them and from there all I need is a second Bismuth and the remaining 4 Relics I'm missing for the museum.

I have a feeling characters might also just be getting stuck on the corners of some areas and complain about that, but I don't really know.

Update: I did still get one complaint after adjusting my layout, and it was from little Chico no less... so I have no clue what's wrong, as he doesn't even need a 2x2 space (which all of my aisles already are.

Speaking of shop layouts, has anyone had the bug where when Adi tells you to place an item on the floor for decoration the item glitches several squares away from where your cursor is? Picking it up and replacing it doesn't fix it either and you can place other items on top of the glitched one because of this.
