How bad are the bugs?
Heya. I am interested to get this game while its on sale and time is running out, I am still unsure.

The biggest negative Ive seen of this game, is its buggy state, but people arent too precise with that.

What kind of bugs are there and how many? I personally dont mind "immersion breaking" ones like path finding issues, but ones that make some text unreadable, or require resets, stuff like that, do annoy me.

Lets say you play a 2 hour session, how does it look like bug wise?

I felt the same way and held out on buying because of bugs, but they have fixed a lot of them already it seems, and are actively working on fixing more, so I went ahead and bought it. In my 30 hour+ time playing it I have encountered very minor bugs.
In a 2 hour session I'd say the only bugs one might notice are a bit of animation weirdness, slight collision errors (none of which have required a restart to escape from for me yet), some out of place text when pelo shop.
Once in a rare while the game will hang when a pelo makes a purchase for some reason, but it always recovers and continues on. In my experience so far anyway. I think there's still a one that crashes the game currently, the devs pinned a post about it.

Thanks a ton for your answer

I currently have over 120 hours in this game and encountered very few bugs, and most of those have been fixed already. The devs are quick to respond to any bug reports here so that's always a good sign when devs care to respond quickly. I've not encountered anything game breaking so basically the game just needs a bit more polish to fix some minor bugs and maybe add some QOL things after they've fixed those.

In short the game is very much playable and it's a fun, chill and wholesome game overall.

I got ~30 hours in the game and there's three things that I experienced during my time.

1. The game's performance gets noticably worse as you unlock more areas of the island.
2. Sometimes when haggling/recommending items to customers, the process "breaks" and you get stuck. Basically forces you to go to main menu and reload. We're talking maybe 10 times in total during all my hours?
3. One quest was bugged for me and I couldn't progress it no matter what, as it'd break mid-dialogue and force me to reload.

I presume these will be fixed and I won't mind replaying the game once more once they do. The game itself is quite enjoyable.

I've had very few bugs, nothing game breaking. Each patch fixes more potential issues, too.

I have a serious bug where fulfilling multiple customer orders in a row, a customer would get their order and there would be no dialogue box, nothing to click to progress forward. I had to force quit the game 3x now because of that glitch

So far I don't think I've run into any
