I thought it was a coincidence too, but when I changed a small detail about my shopkeeper, Mirage had the same thing changed about them when I met them again. I just wish that at least Adi or Maple made a comment about how Mirage and I look oddly alike. Like...every other Paleofolk has a unique design about them, even the Trike siblings, while same species, look very different to eachother. So with Mirage and us looking like carbon copies of eachother, I wish someone would acknowledge it...
Kind of a shame it's never played upon that they are a look-alike.
As the name "Mirage" states, maybe we're just hallucinating them actually looking like us. As in, this is what we could've been like if we chose greed and money over actual hard work. Not sure if there's any truth behind this, after all it's just a theory when I mentioned the whole situation to a friend of mine and he saw how Mirage acted in-game.
