Will there ever be mods or dlc? and also can't place a decor item

As the title says. I'd love it if the game got a modding community that allowed Amber Isle to expand beyond the main island, i'd love if the Archipelago surrounding it was able to get populated with the combined efforts of the Paleofolk of base game. Could even be official DLC made by Ambertail adding more paleofolk, it'd be super fun

and the decor i can't place is the Maple Witch pumpkins, no matter what i try they won't let me place them, the other Halloween decor works but not the maple witch pumpkins

I really hope there will be mod support as it definitely helps keep games going and builds an active community! I'd love to see modded maps and dinosaurs added along with so much more...it would be great. I'd be eager to do some myself if proper support came around.
