You wont learn by trying to cheat the game, you learn by making mistakes, see what went wrong then do something different next time. As Einstein once said "The definition of stupid, is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results" best way to learn is start the game on a low difficulty and pay attention to everything that happens, then increase the difficulty as you get better
There was a YouTube about how to use cheat engine in the game...
IIRC the author changed the number to tanks being created... A base model, Tier I with nothing special...
Then he changed the number created from 10 to 9999, and poof he had more tanks than he could ever sell...
He then proceeded to recycle all but 40, and sold the excess materials to fund his game.
His commentary stated this way he had all the materials he needed for future play without waiting for arrivals and plenty of money.
He was clear about one thing, that the tank model showed only 10 created, and he sold some of that 40 he kept.
Created a weird accounting imbalance, kind of like US Government finance accounting! LOL
Ill have to try this, thanks!
You wouldn't happen to have a link to the video?
Don't try and cheat, just learn the game like everyone else lol
...
that is the point.
i wish to learn the game, but my runs end before i can learn even on the easiest difficulty. Is it too much to ask for a crutch to learn with before doing legit runs?
If your are struggling on the easiest difficulty then it's a you problem not the game problem
Hi H3792!
Currently we do not have "cheats", sorry :)
If you run in troubles, I would recommend either doing a Tutorial or watching some Ytube videos about the game. There is plenty at the moment, latest series done by Stealth17.
We have much work left to make various aspects of the game more transparent, true, but if you spend some time learning the game, it will most likely pay off :)
Anyway, do not hesitate to ask here or on our Discord. Our community is very helpful
The Youtuber was German, and I spent about an hour replaying and translating with my poor high school German language classes.
As far as I remember him saying, he started by designing a base model tank.
He used Exact Value and 4 byte
As soon as he had finished making 1 tank he started that search.
After 3 he improved his search, rinse repeat until he finish the 10 tank construction.
By then he had filtered to 6 choices.
At which point he recycled 1 tank, filtered to 1 location.
He then changed that number to 9999
Then as mentioned, he recycled to 40 tanks
Had a huge pile of resources, which he sold for cash
Keeping enough resources so he never had to buy or wait for more
He still had the Constructed versus Sold accounting, so if that's registered in your final score then your cheating WILL BE RECORDED.
Good luck
NOTE>>> The above is informational, not advocacy!
Personally I have found this game runs in a razor's edge towards bankruptcy.
Once you've gotten past that initial thin line, then it's resource & time management.
Alternately, there is a good steam guide that can help you improve.

Just look at the section "What to do first in game"
Cheating for a purely singleplayer, offline game, is the only time I consider cheating acceptable. Don't let certain someones tell you otherwise, including the game devs.
