Personally I gave up on that whole contract type and focus on the others. Will see later.
As soon as you complete a design they actually want, they want something different.
I always go broke around 1916 made it once into 1917, and still broke.
Maintenance costs for buildings are WAY to high, even with upgrades to recude it.
Hi,
Personally, I usually "stick" to several design families and try to "sell" them as much as possible via lobby functions, so that i get to exploit the series fame as well
When it comes to maintenance , are you playing the game on Hard or Medium?
I play it always on Medium.
My building maintenance is around 148.000 a month even with the upgrades to reduce costs for maintenance, at the administration.
And i dont even have that manny upgrade for my base, but it looks like it since thats quite expensive.
Before the interwar update, i got the "Heavy Mark V" hull together with composite sponson and everyone wanted that thank, it went like a ice cold coke in the summer, but now? they dont want that tank, they mostly want the old Modelst that i build from the beginning, event though they suffer in battle and getting detroyed left and right.
This time round round though I made a Whippet but upgraded to the 150hp engine and stuck in some higher tier fuel tanks. an almost 50% power output.
For some reason it now sells like hot cakes and it my main earner.
The trick that helps is to have a surplus pool of some 50 tanks all ready to be shipped as soon as a contract comes in. That way you can maximise the price the selling price for quick delivery and earn huge amounts even on a whippet.
Salute!
Hornet works but by the time you can tweak it (aka get the contract, take the screenshot and then tweak the values - I like old school but this is just bad UX) the requirements soon will outstrip parameters of your design. So let say it stays relevant for a year or two if you are lucky (for me it stayed relevant for two contracts).
You can still sell it on Rationalized tanks contracts.
You can't have maintenance over 125.000 - 128.000 on normal. I mean you can but then you are running RNG with contracts. I am sure you have very good reasons to have all upgrades you have but it is what it is.
Yeah requirements will step up as game time progresses, that's the unfortunate thing, remember to have the Breakthrough building to TRY to have the higher tech (thanks RNG) as soon as possible so the tech is relevant for some time at least.
