It's good to have a level that hard though. I always feel that a "medium" level difficulty on any game should be pretty challenging and not an easy win, but the highest level on the game should be possible but far from guaranteed.
Personally I'll play on what was Tycoon previously for a good while yet, maybe until the game is fully released with more era's etc to really nail what I'm doing
The extremely high maintenance costs really seems the killer here.
its okay. You have to know th game to some extend and dont be lazy.
buy cheap.
Buy rubber for 2 sell for 4
get low maintan.
get good tanks or rather meet their demand.
my best deal was a 20k kg tank with 30 fame that sealed a contract for 35k kg tanks. i sold these for 50k each with building costs at 17k
2,8 mio revenue in one deal
you either
skip some deals and build in advance -> high price low time or build good tanks and max time and price.
if you cant get 80%+ of max price in each deal, you cant survive.
Get reputation up asap. you will get better deals.
that way you rush their reputation and get better deals.
one of these deals is resupply.
resupply is based on their tank armies
if other factories sell tanks first, like germany or france, you must build a tank from said company to meet the demand of the resupply contract. which is bad, because you do not have the latest tec. only if you steal it.
And stealing it costs you money. -> bad
The Vanguard tanks were fine, they were my money maker, but I think I made the mistake of going to the first medium tank. These things just don't make enough money on the new hardest setting I feel. So I barely made any profit with these and by 1917 you don't get flooded by contracts yet unless I was just very unlucky. So I really did all contracts up to that point.
I tried to branch into Assault tanks and got the German trophy tank, but by the time it was engineered and ready, I didn't have the money anymore to build enough of these. Normally, these are also a money maker.
Guess I have to try it again.
I think you have the same problem, i had. missing informations...
lobby gameplay is not explained in any way but it is OP.
Go to Global map -> pick GB, or any other country with lvl 3 Rep. -> go to negotiations -> Contract lobby -> view all contracts YOU can start any given time.
i just found it and its absolutly OP. you can check all your tanks stats and build these before you start it. Max money out and then you initiate the contract.
my Medium Tanks + Trade make me survive and gain Reputation +-0 per Month. My Heavy Hulls make the money. +-100k per month.
1919 i have Mark V Hull with 1700 score for Vengaurd Tanks. 25k production cost and sell these for 40-70k with 3 day production time.
Oh ok? thx didnt even knew that, and i am well over 150 hours into the game without even touching that topic!
I thougt reputatioan is like...you just get more contracts and maybe better prices?
hi fixius01!
what are you meaning?
Lastly we need archives of all offered tank contracts to be able to properly adapt to change in consumer wants, as i can´t remember all the things that need to be re-engineered or i need to take a screen shot have it pinned in the corner of my screen, until i finally get the right combination of parts to finally meet the tank criteria.
there is a "role" button in thr design menu.
i would like to have a minimum requirement and after i fullfill these, the focused bonus stats or something like that. x4 for repairability with 0 operation range is....
