Xbox Controller Issues

please help,not showing my Xbox controller layout, also very high sensitivity on right stick, just showing keyboard and mouse while in game. other games working perfect;y. how to fix that?

now have controls, but still not showing me in game my key layout, just showing keyboard and mouse. annoying, need to learn movements without seeing actual layout

Hi, I'm having this really annoying problem too. I tried changing some controller settings, but I got no results. For now I'm checking the integrity of the game files, then I'll try to reinstall it. Have you found any solution in the meantime?

Oh, nope, i havent find any, i tried something that i found on internet, but it not helps. Im thinking just buy old ps4 remote and play it ;)

Turning off my steam controller support worked for me. Steam overlay is overtaking a game that has already been ported with full controller support for both PlayStation and Xbox. when you click the game, look to the right at the full controller support, click it and turn it off.

Controller doesn't work at all if you do that

i had the same problem. turned off steam controller support then turned it back on. xbox icons then showed up

go into steam select the controller template standard not mouse wasd, then make sure the option ingame has controller input disabled off and it fxed it for me.

Why is a really dumb messed up community layout the default controller layout for this game? Did the developers choose this?

Yes, this worked. Toggled default controller setting from launch menu, and verified controller not disabled in-game. Immediately fixed.
