Unable to launch game
I own an iMac, but I've installed windows using bootcamp. My drivers are up-to-date, well they're obviously not, but there just aren't any newer drivers for bootcamp. The game doesn't allow me to launch it, and I have no way of updating my drivers. Is there a way I could get around this? Or perhaps some kind of more permanent solution, like non-official drivers?

I'm using an AMD Radeon Pro 580 graphics card.

i am sry i was a bit rude in my wording even though i still believe in what i said. i hope you find a solution or get to a better place financially wise and as a consumer make buying decisions that not involve apple. and this may sound very much anti apple. well i cant argue against that. i dislike anything apple stands for besides some designs. and yes pcs or consoles are expensive but so was the device you are trying to use right now ^^

also unless you bought a key from a third party do know you can return games to steam for a full refund as long as you havent played the game for 2 or more hours. in most cases steam is very accommodating and it is also very easy to do with step by step guides on youtube and such. takes like 2 minutes

MacOs is actually superior for several things but gaming is not one of them.

yeah absolutely but that does not change the fact that i dont like apple for many different reasons. and even if i had a workload suited for a mac i would still not get one. be it that i do that one task slower. this is not the place to get into why i dislike apple. i would have to write a book^^ lets just say the reason i dont like apple is not because they make technically flawed stuff. they have great engineers and for some devices fantastic designs. some of their products are objectively good. and also i am not saying that the pc market be it ms/windows or all the hardware players are like angels.

I do agree, that apple products aren't the best (especially for gaming), and the story of how I ended up with an imac for gaming is long and complicated. I am aware of refunding games on steam, but I bought this game because I really want to play it. I don't think I'm going to refund it. I just really hoped that there was a way to simply play the game regardless of the error message, because my computer should be able to run the game anyway.

all good, some people still dont know about the refund options. pls keep in mind even if you dont get over the 2 hours you only can refund for 2 weeks. no one is stopping you from repurchasing it once it becomes playable for you
