WTF - I lost my save after latest update?!

Are old saves not compatible with latest version of the game or something?? I can still see saves files sitting in the save file folder [C:\Users\XXXX\Saved Games\Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection\users\78903369\Uncharted4\saves]

this sucks. i guess i am lucky this didnt effect me. the only issue is the mouse is slow now.
maybe verify the game and hope this will fix it.

Ok. Now after validating game files, 24 files failed to validate and 24gb now needs to be downloaded again. So weird, because the game actually booted and I got as far as the first level starting all without a crash. Surprising it didnt crash with missing files.

Same problem here... My saved get corrupt and lost 7h of play. I still see the saved files also dated from the last time I played.
I tried to look for some solutions to fix that, but no luck yet :/

pure incompetence that Sony allows devs to crap the bed with all their most important exclusive IP's. Horizon Zero Dawn set my standards extremely low for these steam releases.

Yes, I can see my save files dated back to the 24/10 which was when I last played it. I lost 13.5 hours

ANOTHER WTF - so now I got absolutely no idea why, but all I did was try out lowering the polling rate for my mouse to see if that affects the mouse sens in game in a positive way - and it does by the way - BUT NOW I HAVE MY SAVE BACK TOO?!?! The game is suddenly back where I left the game before the recent patch..... I got no idea whats going on

I tried that just to see if it works also on my side and it does not (on a basis I play this game with controller so I was not affected by the mouse issue everybody is talking on the forum ^^).
However I can still see my save, even the last night one (auto save) when I tried to restart the game (skipping already seen cinematics make it a lot shorter ^^), but both are indicated as corrupted and when I try to manually save in game I got an error message asking me to check if the game has access to the save files or if I have enough Hard drive space (which I do, more than 400Go free space ^^).
So I'll wait their next patch to see or will have to reinstall the game I guess >_< (so happy to have to dl 100 Go again in that case... >_<)

Had same problem with lost save after last update. What did help me, I've started new game and right after that created new save. Went into save file localization at C drive, and renamed old save with name of new created file. Try that maybe.

I have my old save file back now its all good. But the circumstances about how I got it back was totally bizarre
