Crash at Lost Legacy Chapter 9 - End of the Line

Well, I've had my share of crashes in both games, but they were random enough to let me progress. However, there is a point where the game crashes at the exact same spot and it's somewhat unavoidable.

The spot is in chapter 9, and without spoiling too much, there's a point at this chapter where you have to press "C" to look at an enemy truck; if I press "C", the game freezes and crashes immediately; if I don't press C and keep moving forward, the game eventually crashes like, maybe 10 seconds later or so; I've tried many possible workarounds, to no avail; I even restarted the chapter, and no dice either;

So, in short:

1 - hardware: i7 10700KF; RAM 16GB DDR4; GPU Radeon RX VEGA 56 (8GB VRAM);
2 - I tried limiting data connection and putting all settings to low, as some people suggested;
3 - I have the latest *optional* AMD drivers installed - I also tried with the latest *recommended* drivers, and had the same result.

Anyone else got this problem?

I have this exact crash, especially after latest patch

My first playthrough was well enough and I was able to beat Lost Legacy. Now, on my Crushing playthrough here I am

i get crashes always at the same spot in this chapter, right when you get on the train. Had no issues up to now. Played through Thief's End with no issue and Lost legacy up to chapter 9.

Running on i9-9900K, 64GB DDR4 3600Mhz, and RX 6900XT. I tried different GPU settings and tried undervolting the GPU. Nothing worked. Always crashes at the same point.

Maybe find how to fix it...
Same problem at the same place
Turned 30 FPS mode in graphics settings and played this until the boss fight... Then turned off and complite the game at normal FPS

Put your settings to 30fps, it fixed my game. Was crashing at the same spot on train/
