random flashing screen at opening part of 4

dont know what caused it, maybe the lightning? during the first part when you are on the boat chase, every few sec, the whole screen would flicker white few times, literally seizure inducing, any idea why?

I'm having an issue were the lightning isn't showing up correctly. I may wait for some patches because it already made me go through reshading twice for some reason. also vsync and dlss seem to have no effect on this I may need to redownload the game altogether

For me it was definitely DLSS, but I'll keep experimenting later.

Thai issue only happens with HDR on. Does it work with HDR for you?

Just tried it and it doesn't work. Enabling HDR is the issue

Hi thank you for posting this issue, we are looking into it.. Do you happen to have V-sync disabled while using a monitor/gpu that does not support variable refresh rate? If so, could you try using default settings and see if that fixes it?

If not, please list your PC specs (to include SSD/HDD), Windows version, and drivers..

yes, i have v sync disabled, im using a samsung g8 4k monitor which technically support g sync and its enabled in nvidia panel
Spec:
5900x
rtx 4090
32gb ddr4 4600mhz
870 qvo sata 3 ssd
windows 11 version 21h2
gpu driver 522.25
while i didnt notice any more visual anomalies after get pass the first sequence on boat, certainly hope this information can help you fix whats wrong with that scene
