Cant Climb up the Rope

On the way to the treasure cave now hanging from a rope infront of the broken wheel. I cant climb up the rope to jump past the wheel. It Says "Q Hold" what does that mean. Tried all ways , just swing around or fall to death. How can i Climb up that rope. Is there a key I am supposed to be pressing for "hold" . Please help, I am stuck. Thanks

My guess is hold the Q button
or L1 on controller

nope, nothing works, tried loads of combinations, but there must be a solution

Hold Q then press W or D to climb up and down

yes but as soon as i press "Q" he falls to his death. o.k. will try again thanks

Nope . Dead again. Must be a glitch in the game. I am not an expert but would it be possible that there is one of these "patches" that i could down load to rectify it.???

Chapter 15: The Thieves of Libertalia - My character will NOT climb the rope. its been wonky in places, but never to the point where it flat out doesnt work until now.

reloading a few times fixed it, I guess its a bug.. after numerous searches a lot of people on PC are having the same issue.

WOW Such a huge bug, it works like 1 out of 10 times. This needs to be addressed, its game breaking, as you can not progressl
