If this doesn't help, could you please list your PC specs (to include SSD/HDD), Windows version, and drivers? Thanks again.
Yes, I have waited for shader to build fully before playing, game was running flawlessly up to that point. Even with the shaders loaded, i left it loading for a good 20 minutes, before giving up, closing the game through task manager and trying again; the same occurs every time. If you try to load into a saved game after that happening, the game again, is stuck loading. I'll list my specs bellow.
I've also posted another issue I'm having on Uncharted 4: A thief's end, again, the game plays very well (100+ fps on ultra) until the game suddenly crashes in prologue, when Nate gets hit off the boat, always in that exact moment. I've tried pretty much every fix that's been posted for both the games but can't get them to work. Can't wait to play this masterpiece again though, had so much fun with it when it came out on ps4!
Pc specs:
Gtx 1070
i5660k
16gb ram
Samsung evo 500gb SSD
DDR3 1tb hdd (where the game is installed)
Windows 10 pro
As for the nvidia drivers:
I tried playing on the new, v522 nvidia drivers but the game wouldn't boot up so i reverted back to the nvidia 517 drivers and the game boots just fine.
If there's anything else you need me to provide I'll happily do so! Thank you for your help!
