How's the port in 2025?

I when this first launched and I was considering getting it I remember hearing some concerning stuff about the mouse input and performance being borked. Performance is something I can probably brute force with my hardware at this point and likely don't need to worry about, but how are the controls feeling on PC now that it's undergone a few patches?

i keep seeing people making posts about crashing and i played this game on 3 different pcs and never had a single crash,its a great port and runs very smooth

Game runs fine. Been playing it since it launched here and never had any issues.

Last time I played it was on my prior 8700K, GTX 1080, 16GB RAM rig installed on a Plextor 128M5Pro SSD at just over 500Mb/s read speed. That was on patch 1.3 and though it ran OK mostly, the heavy action scenes with the convoy and train were quite hitchy.

On my new 13700K, RTX 4080, 32GB RAM rig with it installed on a Nextorage gen 4 7300 Mb/s read speed NVMe, patched at 1.4, it runs way smoother. There's only been a couple subtle hitches here and there, and one was in a transition area with no action.
