crashed midgame
my game crashed out of nowhere and I have an RTX 5080

What chapter is crashing ? Try disabling resizable bar in your BIOS.
Apparently it does not play well with the 5000 series.

lost legacy but it happened in the other one too. I'll look into that resizable bar thing

Keep us posted !

I have seen resizable bar causing lots of issues with RTX 5000 GPUs, happens in games like Control as well.

yeah its fine now I just played for hours straight and nothing happened. The 50 series has lots of issues reported by many people. NVIDIA has to fix it

Yeah I suspect reBar was behind some of the crashes.

And if it makes you feel better resizable bar does not boost FPS by a lot, at best you can hope for 6-10% more perf.

I am experiencing it too, I have finished the whole game a year ago it was great! now I have reinstalled it and it's getting stuck and crashing. I am at the Scotland church level. I have rtx 2060
