No HDR = Refund

I can't believe I waited 8 additional months for the PC version thinking it will be better, when I could have just bought the PS5 version which has HDR for 100 Turkish Lira. Seriously, it makes a MASSIVE difference in this game, especially on oled. Not including it is incredibly stupid.

I mean, on one hand, you are amazingly patient, but on the other hand, just wow.

I upgraded right away. Even if the PC version was the best version of the game, it wasn’t going to be that much better.

To be fair I thought it would come a lot sooner. In the end waiting still paid off because it got a nice VRR update in the meantime. Already filed for a refund on Steam.

Playing this with kbm beats hdr, which will likely be here, add ultrawide, unlocked frame rate, better textures and the only lesson is that consoles are the worst way to play

Yall so obsessed with HDR, yet have no idea what SpecialK is and how its imperative in moments like this for PC releases without a native toggle. It adds perfect HDR. It's a free program that injects HDR into the game and since the game already has the HDR metadata from the console release it will be a perfect match. I've tested this on several games without issue. LGCX user here, and before you ask, no this isn't fake HDR. I can prove it with some benchmarks I've made on YouTube if you're interested. Even so, there is likely native Windows Auto HDR support

You cannot achieve real HDR via a F***king reshade. All those do is oversaturate colors to emulate the look of it. Get out of here with that.

It's not reshade dude.....wow...you guys need to learn a thing or two. Just google digital foundrys video on it. It's true HDR, is recorded in true HDR, and outputs on youtube as a true HDR video

LMFAO....its never washed out unless you're on an HDR 400 or 600 nit display in which it simply can't output full Wide Color Gamut and High Dynamic Range. Get a real HDR Display like a Sony or LG OLED and you will NEVER go back

Yeah. Same over here. Implementing HDR on PC a game that already supported it is trivial, and I really didn't expect this in a Naughty Dog game.
I hope they patch it in, but then, why release now?

It's not "true" HDR. Games are still tone mapped for SDR even when SK is converting them to HDR, so a lot of quality is lost and it's not comparable to native HDR (it would be amazing if it was that simple).
