yeah when you are used to play with a mouse playing with a controller feels very unnatural. i dont want to start a debate. people can play however they like and with some assist many people are still very good with a controller. i am mostly a pc player but i played also alot of console games including this one. i cant wait to finally play the best version of this game. high fps and mouse controls
I don't think this comes down to preference. It is an objective and observable thing. Mouse and keyboard are better than controller. And don't get me wrong either. I am very good with controllers given how bad it is. I played CoD4 on PS3 from 2007 to 2009. Back then I didn't have a gaming PC. And I can say for a fact that I was the best player from my country.
I've been playing Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 again on PS3 and basic things take forever to do and accuracy is horrible. Even YouTube videos of others playing it. Garbage. Now you can check OP's video. Even though you can see he is not a CSGO "pro player", his aiming with a mouse is light years (yeah, I know it's a distance measurement) ahead of controllers.
i would also argue that objectively and clearly without any assist mouse is much better than controller. but assist is a thing (lul) and some people just grow up never using a mouse. just as an extreme and also kinda stupid example. my mom never had to use a computer for work or anything. she struggles with pressing the mouse button fast enough to make a double click. there are people that used controllers for 20+ years and never used a mouse for shooters. they will be worse with a mouse. back to what i awas trying to argue. i feel for me using a controller is like cutting a leg off and go for a 100 meter run. controller is a hinderence once you are used to the natural feeling of a mouse (natural with low inout lag/high fps high hz) but there are people that feel the same with controllers. and that is fine
What gets me is that after all that you finish your paragraph with "and that is fine" regarding people who rather use controller. At no point here neither of us said that controller is a thing of the devil. Of course it is fine to prefer a controller. LOL
