Female protagonist?

I'm not familiar with this franchise. Can these games be played as a female protagonist for the entire duration or do you switch from male to female protagonist during the games?

This PC release includes Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy games.

While Chloe Frazer is a character who was a supporting NPC in the prior games, The Lost legacy is the only game in the entire series that stars her as the playable protagonist.

UNCHARTED 4: A Thief's End — You can play as Nathan Drake only(I think so because he is the main character) I think modders can replace characters after game will be released on PC.
UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy. Play as Nathan Drake and Chloe Fraser in separate adventures and help them deal with their past and leave their own legacy.

Nathan isn't in Lost Legacy.

I think in 4 you only play as Nathan. I dont know never actually played the game.
But in Lost Legacy the protagonists are female. You play as Chloe a treasure hunter introduced in Uncharted 2.

Thanks. I prefer games with female protagonists. I am finishing the Tomb Raider reboots, have played Mass Effect with female Shepard, and played Remember Me. I'm on the fence with Cyberpunk and Horizon Zero Dawn. Cyberpunk is too violent for me. The protagonist in Horizon Zero Dawn in my opinion doesn't look that great. The modders will take a while to get all of these Uncharted games playable as a female but it sounds like at least Lost Legacy can be played as a female out of the gate.

I would rather play as a female protagonist. The shape of Aloy's head does not appeal to me. The top of her head is too pointy.

Not sure how that would work considering the amount of voicelines Nathan has in the game. Although if you don't mind playing as Chloe sounding like Nathan, I guess that's fine.

Good point though there are so many mods like this for other games, that replace one character with another, I just assumed that this would be possible. The modders at Nexus Mods are capable of seemingly anything. There is even a mod that allows Cyberpunk to be played from the perspective of a third person.

I mean, it would be easy enough to lift all the general battle grunts and shouts from Lost Legacy I suppose...? you'd obviously have Nolan North speaking in every cutscene though. This seems like such a niche mod, I guess someone out there would make it though

im not sure if anyone mentioned this, but the main character is indeed nathan drake, however, there is an optinal skins menu where you can play as different characters, this inclues some female characters as well, it won't make the story of the game any different, but it does change the main character from male to female. ( source: i own a playstation lul )

so people mentioning mods, you don't need to mod for these skins

also, theres 2 games in this collection, and in the second game, the playable character is a female character, its a spin off of the main uncharted 4 game, where you play as chloe. i hope this helps

Uncharted games tell stories about set characters. It's like a good book but in video game format. That means of course that you can't create your own character, but play one of the characters in the story.
Don't like it ? Too bad, stay away. Stop whining.
