I'm neutral for them
Then I would suggest, you try TR 2013 reboot first. It's less "movie" and more action game then this, with similar basic concept of Indiana Jones theme/universe (treasure hunting), plus is more pleasant to your wallet
That's what the majority of people want from games these days. Just like movies and series these days have a more compelling story then 20 years ago when it was mostly cheesy sitcoms and action movies, there's more thrill, there's more viewer involvement, there's more shock effect. Same with games, people want to feel involved in the story, they want to get pulled in, I mean just look at how many streamers cried at the end of the main story in RDR2, have you ever seen that happen with Call of Duty?
Uncharted 4 and TLL are up there with RDR2 as the best games I ever played in 20 or so years.
