Are these games better than Tomb Raider series?

I never got around to playing the Uncharted games but I have played all of the more recent Tomb Raider games, I'm curious how Uncharted compares?

I haven't played the reboot of Tomb Raider but I like it better yeah. The characters and dialogue, the situations the game but you into feels very hollywood, big budget thing with a main character almost credible and I like the humor. It feels really natural to me.
I find Tomb Raider less engaging and often they forgot what the first game was about.
They even forgot for the second game lol, it was mostly urban environments...

I like uncharted better, Naughty Dogs are really something at making games. A category above Tomb Raider imho.

This Uncharted is a steal on sale, it is incredible and you don't need to know the previous one to fully enjoy it.

They are very similiar and I loved both but I would go with Uncharted series. Characters are much more rememberable and storywise much better , enjoyable.

I personally enjoy the original tomb raider games more than uncharted, mainly for it's precise platforming and everything is climbable mentality. But Uncharted def has better characters and story and shooting. The modern tomb raider games are comparable to Uncharted doe. So between them it's a bit more equal.

They're really similar. The new tomb raiders are a more modern open world, this is relatively linear. There are less puzzles in this and a bit more shooting (although you can still stealth most of it).
I like uncharted a little more, but if you liked tomb raider it's pretty much a given you'll like this too.

I like the tomb raider reboot but uncharted defo has the better pacing in both story and gameplay . Never felt any tedium while playing through the game.

For me shadow of the tomb raider was really boring cuz there were so less action scenes which uncharted excels at. Uncharted is full of action scenes. Also shadow of the tomb raider had so many cut scenes witch was really boring.
So if you want more action paced experience just go with uncharted. You won't regret it.

I prefer Tomb Rider trilogy games due gameplay - score 9. Uncharted - 8.

Tomb Rider has more action, exploration and more styles of killing etc. 3rd part is best in gameplay, but weakest in story.

In Uncharted distances to jump was not constant - too often and fights was way too much scripted. Gameplay I would give 7. Story telling is more profi here.

Those are actually VERY different games! I thought it will be man's Tomb Raider, but it is very different game!

Uncharted is VERY linear cinematic experience where gameplay itself is like 1/3 of whole game... And puzzles are much easier than Tomb Raider.

And you do not have protagonist evolution/progress, you do not have equipment, weapons you carry like in arcade game, one of each kind etc...

I played all modern Tomb Raiders and the gameplay in this game is REALLY similar to them. The difference I'm noticing is that this focuses on being linear and cinematic while the TRs have an open world to explore. Which one is better will depend on what you prefer, but I like both.
