Here's my post about this from another thread. Hope it helps you in your situation.

I had it crash while building the shaders. I had the same thing happen in The Last Of Us Part 1 and the same solution worked in both cases.

I read somewhere that certain Intel CPUs have a bug that is triggered when the shader build process eats up 100% of the CPU. The solution is to go to "Edit Power Plan", select "Change advanced power settings", and set the min and max CPU % to something below 100%. I set mine to 90% and restarted the game. Once the shader building is complete you can set it back to min/max 100% and never worry about it again (until you run another game that crashes to desktop while building shaders that is).

November 2024. This kinda works. Like OP said, I didn't play the game for like 3 days, I came back to a building shader % warning, like in the beggining of the game, but now it would freeze every time I started the game.

I did this and the game started having a better progress, but it still freezed a little.

Game is bugged. Far from Ghost of Tsushima porting level.

This is no bug you have an unstable overclock or insufficient cooling
