Report a translation problem
I had it crash while building the shaders. I had the same thing happen in The Last Of Us Part 1 and the same solution worked in both cases.
I read somewhere that certain Intel CPUs have a bug that is triggered when the shader build process eats up 100% of the CPU. The solution is to go to "Edit Power Plan", select "Change advanced power settings", and set the min and max CPU % to something below 100%. I set mine to 90% and restarted the game. Once the shader building is complete you can set it back to min/max 100% and never worry about it again (until you run another game that crashes to desktop while building shaders that is).
I did this and the game started having a better progress, but it still freezed a little.
I have a i5-12400F.
