Seemingly random crashes

Hello,

Has anyone else faced random crash to desktops in this game (uncharted 4)? It's the only game this happens to me in. Looking at event viewer it gives an error log for u4.exe and checking the crash dmp in CrashDumps using WinDbg it gives me some stack overflow error.

I thought it was my memory so I tested it with memtest86 and occt and it came back with no errors. No pattern to the crashes just random.

Let me know if anyone else has faced these random freezes then crash to desktops .

I get crashes often. GPU fan goes crazy and I loose video signal to my monitor. I'm playing at 2k and low settings on RX590.

I can´t start the game after the last 1.05-Update. Crash immediately.

I did a couple of things to fix Uncharted 4 from crashing all the time in order of what I think was most important:

1. Moved the game off of my main drive C which is a PCIe4 SSD to my SATA SSD drive D.
2. Turned off steam overlay in the properties menu.
3. Updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers (536.40)

A similar approach worked for me to. I was playing on 'Ultra' for the first 10 chapters with no problem, then crashed multiple times during the chase scene. I dropped to 'High' settings and this resolved crash in Hidden in Plain Sight level and has been fine since.

(I have AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX3080)

Can confirm random crashes. I'm just around 20 hours in and have experienced 3 random crashes.

Stable on my system save for Lost Legacy chapter 9 during a particular segment, 30fps cap solves this.
Otherwise, no issues.

Make sure your system is stable under heavy load, and disable OC.

For me, the FPS starts to slow down in the cutscenes, and after the cutscenes, it goes down to 20's then crashes to desktop.

Normally well above 60.
