Maybe verify the game and see if this fixes it.
When I reached the first 3 mummies again, the same thing happened, but right before the explosion I was suddenly able to move away from it!?
On YouTube I saw that when you use a playstation controller, you receive a prompt to walk away, but that doesn't happen with keyboard and mouse.
My PC is new: Windows 11 --- RTX4090 --- SSD 4TB --- Intel core i9 -13th gen --- Memory DDR5 - 64GB.
sorry i could be of no help.
i also tried a couple of games (played uncharted 1-2 and 3), but the controller is not my thing.
After finishing the game, I used a previous save to try out, a couple of times, the igniting of the first 3 mummies again.
As soon as the mummies ignite i started tapping both keys R-ctrl (roll - evade) + downward arrow, which safely moved Nate away from the explosion.
I should have mentioned that I remapped the keys.
S is downward arrow.
L-shift is R-ctrl.
Didn't see any prompt. Maybe the remapping caused it.
