PSA: Uninstall MSI afterburner if you are crashing!
Uninstalling MSI Afterburner resolved my crashing issues at the starting boat scene.

I use the MSI Afterburner to undervolt my RTX3080 and it works fine.
You must have the wrong settings.
Increase your voltage a bit and it will run.

I have a heavy OC on my 4090.. no issues with afterburner... the lightning flickering bug with HDR enabled can be resolved by enabling vsync (the only time I had it turned on)
