Doughnut Drake Restoration Mod?

Gotta admit, I never really wanted Uncharted 4 even on the PS4 - but it came with my system, so I gave it a chance. Wasn't impressed, aside from the "cinematography", but I was really hoping to unlock and play with Doughnut Drake that I'd heard about in the previous Uncharted games. Unfortunately, Neil "No Fun Allowed" Druckmann had it removed for "sensitivity" concerns.

So now that it's on PC, I was kind of considering getting it again once it hits $30 or below on sale, but only if the community is able to restore Doughnut Drake to his rotund glory. Has there been any news on that front? Projects in the works/completed?
