[SOLVED] Chapter 8: Instant Crash at this point

As soon as you jump on the wooden planks, the game keeps crashing.
Does anyone else have this problem?

SOLUTION: set game to 30fps and jump from rope. Nathan will grab ledge and game will crash. Enter again in game and you start from that ledge (Thanks to brusli)

I had the same crash same point. I restart the game and the game put me at the next check point, so I manage to continue.

me too. they fix one bug and implement another. the incompetency of this company knows no bounds.

Try to restart your pc and don't open nothing than the game, then wait some minutes until the map is fully loaded. it worked for some ppl.

Seems like its an issue related to memory leak from non ddr5 hardware or something

Exiting the game and going back in, letting the shaders load worked for me at the menu. Dosto's mention above worked for me.

There is no screen showing "Shader loading" in the menu for me

It's is down in the bottom right, if it's not there, then it's done. It might be shader optimization.

i have multiple crash in this game but i didnt take a picture or see which chapter i am on when it happens

Downgrading driver, safe mode, nothing has worked for me.
