I guess the increase in LOD quality is reducing performance for those using middle of the road CPUs, but with the patch notes they now know how to tweak the game accordingly. In my case with a 5800X3D the game looks better and performance increased, amazing.
Also, hope you guys are given the chance to port the Nathan Drake Collection.
What about other fixes?
And why I haven't received no answer on my tickets?
Totally agree.
Have the same CPU.
Have tried deleting the local save files and have steam DL the saves from the cloud but from what I can tell the cloud save files are corrupted as well.
1. Yes, the ugly mouse stutter is fixed with raw input being set to off and yes the sensitivity slider is much better so you dont have to increase the dpi setting to make it work BUT what makes it pretty much unplayable for me is that the mouse sensitivity is COMPLETELY different when standing behind cover vs. running around. I set my sensitivity just how i liked it and it was fine when i was behind cover in an encounter but then i started walking and it was like 10x the sensitivity. As soon as i took cover again, the sense was fine.
2. when looking up or down it is slow as hell no matter how sensitive the mouse feels when looking left or right (just talking about looking around not aiming down sight sensitivity)
3. The saved games are completely corrupted, when i clicked on the one that was just at the end of the epilogue, nothing happened. I can enter one that is somehow in the prologue but my actual finished gamefile is not accessible. That also means that i cannot play the encounters again to just mess around with fun weapons meaning i have to compelety replay the entire story to just replay certain chapters or encounters for fun, which was possible for me before the patch
All i can try now is download the old patch that was shipped at launch which was pretty much perfect
You played games without avx2 instructions before, so you'll continue to play without them, don't be a fool.
Yes but they no longer care about you, you already spent money, they will happily ruin it for you if it means others with ancient hardware can purchase it.
And what's wrong, dear? A person does not have seven spans in his forehead, he thinks that if you remove these instructions, it will somehow affect his game and processor, rly? xD
There's pre-rendered video in the cutscenes, at least in some parts of them in order to hide background loading of next gameplay area, if you play at high fps and suddenly watch those 60 fps videos then of course it can appear a bit off but not "abnormal".
