Win 7!
To the mods, I understand your position that people arguing is not productive. That's fair.

But since the problem stems from people who wish to hijack these threads, I think the more productive course of action is to deal with those people and let those who use Windows 7 and would like to play this game (or those who actually wish to help us), have a tiny little thread to discuss it.

I would like to give money to play this game, hopefully we can find a Win7 solution.

dx12

no win7

end of thread

There is no solution for win 7 except upgrading.

The game uses directx 12 and what few games DID use the dx12on7 kit are now throwing it in the garbage because the OS is deprecated.

guess people using windows 7 in late 2022 could get along pretty well with people using 10 year old cpu's and complaining for lack of support lol

but...but what is preventing you from upgrading to win 10? I know win 10 sucked at first, but it became much better later. Give it another try, maybe? It's like a 10 minute install dude.

Windows 10 for competiton gaming sucks and always will you will never beat windows xp on raw performance. They simply distort the numbers by refusing to backport certain features to the OS which skews the numbers in thier latest bloatware. Its simple really The more weight you add to something the slower it becomes. Do people think new features are magically free?

Its happened before windows XP is the fastest OS bar none for Direct X 9 rendering because its such a tiny slim ISO with custom editions that are so barebones it barely runs games. Theres a 10% loss in minimum fps in any other OS running DX9. Windows 7 repeats this for Direct X 10 and 11 they are withholding features and the DX12 api so we cant see the performance loss due to whatever new bloat they added. People who say otherwise dont use metrics or keep performance records i do and i can testifiy this is reality.

There is no point trying to win this battle when A Microsoft are stubborn and B averahr gamers mock Windows 7 usage. Therefor its a futile battle but one that shames the PC community for mocking depreciating operating systems. You all let Microsoft throwaway a great OS for no reason and bought into an inferior product in Windows 10. Now they wont backport DX12 and Nvidia in turn will not port Gsync Ultimate support these two things alone would kill windows 11.

That certainly is an impressive level of delusion.

Why would I install a dead OS that can't run anything modern?
Seamus Nov 3, 2022 @ 7:39pm
Better yet: Why would I install a dead OS with zero support for my hardware?

You wouldnt anyways because you would be proved wrong and have to apologize. But you should show some respect when ive been there and you havent. You are basically trolling and as soon as i see such posts it simply makes me reach for the block button. So farewell friend!

Enjoy being bitter about an OS even older than 7 being dead!

When you mock it and celebrate performance loss that you yourself lost it really does speak volumes about consumer intelligence these days. Im not bitter im happy and can run them on dual boot for Esport games. I think its you who sounds and looks bitter here and theres obviously issues present when you have to be so bitter and negative and start to troll. I havent done that at all so i dont see why you think im bitter. And im not debating anymore last post about Windows 7 etc.

The OS you're trying to put on a pedestal cannot utilize modern hardware effectively. Or at all in a lot of cases due to a complete lack of drivers.

If it can't use modern hardware, it's not worth using. That's all there is to it.

Lol... You dont even understand the arguement you tried to derail and troll. Theres no drivers because of you. You are trolling against the OS because it has no drivers? Well obviously when you let Microsoft depreciate an OS they stop making drivers and adding new features which means you cant run the older OS on new hardware and compare the performance loss haha. You obviously started to type to me before evem reading my post. Was it a bit long? Well that cant be helped but i do suggest you read it.
