I hope low key its on their to do list, like they will release all the new games first that are easy to port/were made on PC and then they will remake/remaster the old games like they did with Crash Bandicoot /Spyro. Get the easy money first so they have money to use to remake the old ones. Idk. I hope they do.
1. The Last of Us TV show on HBO has recently begun its marketing campaign, no better time to double down with a remake of the actual game and garner all the hype from the very casual gamers/non-gamers for one big advertisement push in the entertainment sector
2. TLOS Part 1 is still technically one game ,which is a far safer financial investment for ND than 3 full games of Uncharted especially after the Uncharted movie has a mediocre reception
I think Sony still have unannounced plans to properly remake or remaster Uncharted 1-3 for PS5 before creating a PC port. It'll depend on the reception and sales of U4 on PC in the coming months.
Bloodborne is also hard coded to be locked at 30 fps. If you try to run it at 60 fps it goes nuts. When they ported over this game they ended up just copy and pasting The last of us assets into the same engine without fixing any of the engine problems.
If they decide to release some previously console exclusive game on PC, why do they always skip all the previous entries from the series? Especially since they were remastered.
I mean, it's not just Uncharted, it's every AAA video game series that was previously console exclusive.
I still prefer firing up the original 3. Just like The Last of Us and Beyond Two Souls. Away ahead of their time
I however never had PS3/4 and not sure whether I should ever get PS5.
