can you pleas fix the crashes??? i cant play anymore this game cause unable to build the cache, same settings and pc now dotn work anymore

I really do not get why they remove FULLSCREEN mode nowadays, I've seen it missing in some other games too. It should always be there, I mean, why restrict players to only ''windowed'' when we can choose our preferred display mode to our liking?

Do you mean “exclusive fullscreen” perhaps?

What are they taking away? Borderless window is practically the same as exclusive fullscreen

I don't know what happened since last year, but this game was broken for me for months! It would get past the opening with the various characters faces, but would immediately crash to a black screen before the game actually started. I was pulling my hair out.

BUT....I finally found the answer!!! If you have SteelSeries GG running when the game boots up, it will not get past the splash screens. It will black screen and crash every time.

Exit SteelSeries GG and select your SteelSeries speakers via the Windows output device so you can hear the game. The various media options like Sonar Gaming or Sonar media won't work. Just select the actual speakers/headphones themselves. You won't be able to tweak your audio through the GG app anymore, but at least the game is no longer broken!

This issue had me pulling out my hair. Please fix this!!!! I know I'm not the only one because I spent hours trying to find an answer. I didn't figure it out until I saw someone mention that they had fixed the same issue by unplugging their wireless headphones. I am 10000% sure that they were using Steel Series headphones.

I am using some really expensive desktop speakers, not just headphones, so the fact that it can break this game completely for someone like me is unacceptable.

Please patch this as soon as you can!!!

I am using Windows 11 and have previously been able to launch the game with no issues.

Ola, já tentei de tudo e não inicia, fica tela preta após os logos iniciais, ryzen 3700x drivers atualizados, rtx 3080 com ultimo driver nvidia, não sei mais o que fazer para rodar
i played ~5 hours without any problem and now game just not start;\
i start game, see intro video and the picture freezes on naughty dog caption or on sony caption or on that coins flip;\ idk just freez and nothing more

antilag 2 or reflex would be good too, but seriously i don't understand why some games don't have their own fps limiter, it's the BEST. Can someone explain this?!
