Is there an AVX requirement for this game or not?

We need an answer from the developers. If yes, why is this not mentioned on the store page? There must be a reason for the "CPU not supported" error.

Where exactly is it stated that you need a CPU with AVX2 support? Okay, the minimum required CPU does have AVX2 support, but it should be mentioned under the requirement so people doesn't get irritated.

Read again. Go and check Dead Stranding for example. It is clearly stated that it requires AVX. Unlike Uncharted.

You should read again. It says MINIMUM REQUIREMENT are those CPUs - i.e. anything older won't do. Whether they list the AVX feature specifically or not doesn't matter.

This is the ONLY game on the market that require AVX2, indeed they need to put it on the store page. Minimal requirement means framerate below acceptable level (30 or 60 depending on the developer's standard, but mostly 30), NOT can't even see the mainmenu.

You assume too much. People don't know the difference between a Core, Xenon, and Celeron.

Sony/Steam know this too though, they should put it in "PC for Dummies" terms.

The minimum requirements say: Intel i5-4330. Older Intel will not work. The Intel i5-4330 has built in the AVX. Maybe this feature could be the reason, but AVX its not special mentioned anywhere. For now its not really clear, It can also be another feature.

The thing is that you CAN'T start the game with the AVX 2.0 requirement. Without it, you would be able to run it. Doesn't matter if your CPU meets the minimum requirements or not.

Oh man. They list minimum requirements not only for performance reasons but also to you know, run the game. They also don't explicitly list that you can't run this game on Windows 98 for the same exact reason.

You are Right They never told us about this Avx2 thing and now all of the gamers are in trouble because Everyone can't afford new cpus so ND Please do something and give us a patch or an update regarding this issue because we love uncharted
