This game is a huge flop on PC

Peaked at 9.7K. Persona 5 which is also available on Game Pass for comparison peaked at 21K.

For comparison's sake, here is how it stacks up to other Playstation titles:

Horizon Zero Dawn: 49,582

Days Gone: 27,380

God of War: 73,529

Spider-Man: 66,093

All Playstation releases have been fairly successful on PC so far but this one is bombing hard. There could be several factors. One often cited is that it's the 4th game in the series and that players simply aren't interested in jumping at the end.

The numbers will improve over the week-end but I'd be surprised to see it reach 20,000. I think the PC crowd just isn't interested in games like these. While the other Sony games are story-driven cinematic affairs, they're open-world or RPGs. Uncharted is way too heavily scripted and offers no freedom.

Those games are a hit with console gamers who love their Hollywood movie experiences, not so much with the PC crowd.

My point isn't which mid game is better, it's that both are movie games, spooderman has garbage content outside of the main story and it's mostly cutscenes yet it still sold like crazy. So it's not that PC gamers don't want movie games, it's that like console players they can't get enough of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ capeshit movie games instead of Indiana Jones inspired movie games.

Spider-Man most definitely isn’t just cutscenes and has a lot more time spent playing than Uncharted does. It’s nowhere near as heavy-handed with the cinematics.

There is a workaround but its not worth doing as it only results in a framerate of 15-20.

Not sure why Sony did this considering all their once exclusive releases have been pretty competent on PC port but they did and many European users are pissed.

Seems like the game was ported with AVX optimization in mind. I can get that a lot of ppl still have 10 years old cpus, but at the same time this game would perform worse with no AVX2 on modern cpus. i hope i'm wrong and it was just a mistake from iron galaxy

Exactly but Sony/Naughty Dog are completely out of touch when it comes to PC. They said The Nathan Drake Collection wouldn't be coming to PC because the graphics aren't good enough to sell on PC. PC, a platform where people regularly play games from the 90s and early to mid 2000s, a platform that's filled with pixel art indie titles, a platform that Japanese devs are putting as many of their PS2/Vita looking games on as possible. But that collection won't sell because it doesn't look pretty enough, an utterly absurd take.

But sometimes i can´t wait. And so i did bought "Uncharted" for Full Price.

I prepurchased "Cyberrpunk 2077".

Bought "Batman: Arkham Knight PREMIUM" for full prizing.

You know what happened to all games. MEA CULPA !!!

Exactly. Many clowns on steam think they owe publishers and developers for something when you are buying it which is the reason they make it in the first place.

Game creation like any other industry is a business not a hobby.

And when you pay for something the least you expect is to receive a working product. Not everyone does however but then when they ask for help they get blasted for daring to criticise.

Sad how polarised society has become.

I played a little of UC4 on my ps4 pro but could never really stick with it long for the 30 fps. I was very hesitant on buying this on pc but damn I'm glad I did. Binged played it over 3 days and beat it, (just uc4). Wow, amazing.. felt like last of us but with pirates and merc's instead of crazy plant zombies. The port quality here is top notch, zero issues. Though I do play with a controller on this game so I hear it has many mouse issues which I hope they fix soon. $50 for two naughty dog games? Umm, hell yah!

Um, still wan't bloodbourne... bloodbourne and um.. where is our bloodbourne port Sony? Guess you don't want millions of pc gamer money? /shrug

We've all been there at some stage. I too also pre-purchased Cyberpunk 2077. That was a train-wreck. I feel your pain.
