This game is a huge flop on PC

Peaked at 9.7K. Persona 5 which is also available on Game Pass for comparison peaked at 21K.

For comparison's sake, here is how it stacks up to other Playstation titles:

Horizon Zero Dawn: 49,582

Days Gone: 27,380

God of War: 73,529

Spider-Man: 66,093

All Playstation releases have been fairly successful on PC so far but this one is bombing hard. There could be several factors. One often cited is that it's the 4th game in the series and that players simply aren't interested in jumping at the end.

The numbers will improve over the week-end but I'd be surprised to see it reach 20,000. I think the PC crowd just isn't interested in games like these. While the other Sony games are story-driven cinematic affairs, they're open-world or RPGs. Uncharted is way too heavily scripted and offers no freedom.

Those games are a hit with console gamers who love their Hollywood movie experiences, not so much with the PC crowd.

I mean to be fair to marketing for this compared to the other releases was... non-existant. In fact I forgot completely that this game was launching today until this morning.

My guess ND is still testing the waters with PC ports and wanted to keep this release low-key. And it's hard to blame them, because in all honesty, as a PC port, it kinda sucks at the moment. Needs patches and work, for sure.

Persona had no marketing either, it didn´t even had a pre-order on steam, the thing is, most people didn't play uncharted 1 ~ 3, and starting at the end doesn't make any sense

To be fair none of these games releaswed teh same month as:

- Plague Tale Requiem
- Persona 5 Royal
+ Call of Duty
- Bayonetta 3
- Gotham Knights

And a dozen other games that I probably forget about but yes, the fgact that this is Uncharted 4 and that the 3 other games in teh franchise are nowhere to be found is not helping.

I'm sure porting three PS3 games is a LOT more technically challenging than porting any single PS4 game. Heck, maybe with an i9-13900k you can ALMOST emulate them at this point but uhh... that would be illegal so please Steam moderators don't delete this message, because I'm suggesting no such thing.

But yeah... porting PS3 games is not easy. Otherwise I'm sure Sony would have done it.

Probably very difficult, if other PS3 games are any indication. But IDK.

Plague Tale isn't setting Steam on fire. Fairly mediocre numbers.

Persona 5 is as old as Uncharted 4.

COD doesn't sell on PC. It's a console shooter with ♥♥♥♥ numbers on PC.

Bayonetta isn't out and is a nice Switch title.

Gotham Knights is getting eviscerated by critics and gamers alike.

These aren't games competing in the same sphere except A Plague Tale to a certain extent and even that's a stretch. It's doing much worse number than Days Gone which was considered a disappointment on Playstation whereas Uncharted was one of their best-selling games.

Uncharted 4 is competing in teh same sphere allright, CoD is also pretty big on PC, you're wrong if you think otherwise (I'd say it is way bigger than Uncharted). Gotham Knightsd migh get eviscerated but will sell nontheless on teh name alone.

All I am saying is people don't have infinite cash to burn on videogames when Black Friday and Christmas are around the corner with another dozen or so big hitters releasing in the next 2 - 4 months. There is a reason why broketober is called brioketober, this year ain't different.

Also bluepoint took care of that remaster. And they are a grade above all developers when it comes to remasters/remakes.

Im waiting until they fix and patch what i want. The port is not ideal hence the low numbers. When people get things like DOF and TAA toggle and DLSS 3.0 and Raw mouse input sales will climb. Also want Exclusive fullscreen basically what Spiderman has we now want as Spidermam ser the bar very high.
