Stuck underwater securing crate

Im trying to lift crate up. So i get cable loop it around axle and then when i try to secure cable nathan just lets it go.
After looping around axle i can see prompt to secure cable, but nothing happens. He doesent secure either of them.

I managed to fix issue.
When i started game i changed action key to F. And because of that underwater cables didnt work. Everything started to work after i changed action key back to E.

Seems that you cant really swap keys from default to your liking or game breaks.

Oh man just happening the same thing to me. That is a bug if you can change the keybindings. Thanks for reporting the fix. They should add a subforum for Bugs reporting.

This happened to me as well. I always change interact to F and I changed melee to E but couldn't hook up the trailer no matter what I tried. After rage quitting I tried resetting key bindings to default and it worked. After I got the trailer hooked up I changed it back to F with no issues so far. Seems like a bug to me.

Can you also answer if the game has an AVX 2.0 requirement or not? Many people can't play this game because of the CPU not supported error. Thanks.

half baked port. can't even get the basic key bind function to work properly.

I actually also had this EXACT same problem and fixed it by briefly plugging in a PS4 controller.

The symbols never match the keyboard and are rather confusing. Still trying to figure out how to drop the cable.

Interesting is How many players play this game without any ANY problems and there you go . I thing problem is many times on other side not in game. Mine works FINE I play on keyboard and mouse. AND none problems WHY?

Because almost every player has DIFFERENT hardware. We all have different processors, different video cards, different ram, different motherboards, different operating systems, different keyboards, different mice, different controllers, different drivers, etc. etc. so optimising each game to every available combination is impossible.
That's why some might have problems with game and others have no issues at all.
