Game messing with mouse led
Hello,

I have a logitech g903 mouse. All leds are deactivated as i don't see the point of them apart from consuming power. When i play Uncharted, the led lights on and also flashes when loading which is really distracting.

Any way to disable this? First time i ever see a game do this.

You have to check inside your RGB software (if you have any) like Icue, razer, NZXT Cam and others and inside the game itself if there is any RGB effects are activated. This means that the game can control your RGB software to match the game effects (like shooting/lights or other fancy effects that your keyboard , mouse or fans might respond to. Locate all the software and walk through every RGB setting + the game itself.

I found how to disable it in the Logitech app, general settings, "Allow games to control illumination".

Should would be nice if it was a opt-in thing.

I had this issue with my Corsair Keyboard too. Uncharted would make the keys flash orange. Very annoying. For anyone with a Corsair keyboard wanting it to stop, this is what I did.

Firstly, I updated my iCue software to the latest version: v. 4.29.203. Once up to date:

1) start "Uncharted" game. Note: the game must be running to disable the integration.
2) open iCue. The gear icon in the top right takes you to "Settings"
3) select "Software and Games"
4) in the "Software and Games" tab, there's an "Active Clients" box. Here, you should see "u4.exe" (if the game is not running, you won't see "u4.exe")
5) in the column marked "Block" simply click the block icon (the circle with a dash in it) to move "u4.exe" to the lower section called "Blocked Clients"
6) Voila! no more flashing lights on your Corsair Keyboard!

Alternatively, you could just move the sliders on the top of the "Software and Games" tab to stop all integration, or do as above to block integration client by client.

Sorry for hijacking this thread! I know the OP was asking about a Logitech mouse, but I found this thread by searching for my Corsair keyboard issue. I hope this helps other Corsair keyboard owners.

Open Logitech Gaming software
Open settings (gear at the bottom right)
Uncheck "allow games to control illumination"

Open Logitech G-HUB
Click menu (lines button) on top left
Click Games and Applications
Click Desktop profile
Click Integrations
Click on Uncharted
Flick the switch to OFF

I have the full logitech RGB setup. Uncharted is one of very few games that the devs have created a custom lighting profile for. These as these can be really cool if devs put the effort in, for example in GTA when the cops chase you the g560 speakers flash red and blue.

All uncharted seems to do so far is do some lights going across the keyboard when loading to reflect the spinning coin, and then the rest of the time everything is orange. I'm not very far into the game though so hopefully there is more.

I'm 42 and love a bit of RGB! The Logitech peripherals i have are quite restrained and don't have the tacky gamer aesthetic.

The main thing i use it for is screen sampling. So if your playing a game you can have the screen colours on your keyboard, speakers and projected on the wall behind the monitor. Very much adds the to the immersive experience of games like this.

This isn't a fix. I use stream deck so I can use extra keys on my keyboard. Those will break if I turn off software integrations which is needed to remove within uncharted.

A fix would be for them to add a setting to disable lighting.
