I think they'd be fine.
With the Last of US coming to the small screen in series format in a short while I should imagine there will be renewed interest with a larger gaming audience looking for previous Playstation games to be available for Windows.
I mean i'd be fine with PS3 assets just the higher resolution alone and some handy features that we'd expect on PC and im good
"We felt that, while Nathan Drake’s first three adventures from the PlayStation 3 console still stand the test of time narratively, they would require a major overhaul visually to stand-up to modern PC releases and the expectations players may have." Chances are since sony is giving out remasters left and right UC1-3 Is gonna have a Re-remaster for ps5
They need to get rid of that mentality. New games are expected to have visual excellence but Nightdive has shown that simple remasters for classics are all that's needed for older titles. All this statement means is that we'll have less games of Sony's rich back catalogue ported unless Sony decides to waste more resources "remaking" games that don't need them.
This also means that PC players only get Return of the King without seeing Fellowship or Two Towers first.
I've now lost hope for classic God of War and inFamous ports.
