Yes, but you might as well watch the original trilogy on YouTube.
This is a complete new game, you can follow it without playing the other ones.
That being said, you will miss the bonding between the characters.
There are allot of emotions in this game, and you probably sometimes not completely understand why some characters are salty because of older advantures together.
They have history.
Playing part 4 only will still give you a beautiful story (one of my favorite games this one)
It will make you happy, sad, angry.
But playing the previous parts, this game will hit you much harder with nostalgia.
