Can't Get DS and Creatures 3 to Work Together: Install Disc?

Hi there!
I'm so sorry to bother you guys.

So, here's my issue.
Whenever I go and create a world to have both DS and C3 enabled, it tells me I must have the disc in my computer?
I mean, I had the disc in 8th grade (haha, 20 years ago), but I bought the DLC for Creatures 3 on Steam... do I still need to buy the disc and have it in my computer?
I tried the "retry" option after the error message, it took me into the game, but in the Agent Injector room, there's just nothing that might be about injecting Creatures 3 rooms or anything like that.
Also in the Umbilical portion, it just looks the same as if I were running DS alone.

Oh man, I'm so bummed I can't get this working, this was my favorite game as a kid and I was so excited to try it again.

If it helps, I'm running this on a Windows 10 computer.

I would highly recommend checking out this[github.com]list of resources when you have a chance. lisdude has done a lot of great work getting all three Creatures games fixed up!

Are you sure the DLC is enabled? There's a Creatures 3 folder next to your Docking Station folder if you look at your local game files?

You should not have to do anything extra to get this version of the game working. Maybe you changed the default Steam directory and the game's failing to adapt? Go look at your .cfg file in your Docking Station folder (with notepad) and make sure there's file paths pointing to the right place (the c3 folder)
