Norns can't get pregnant or lay eggs.

When I start a new world, my norns can no longer get pregnant or lay eggs. I've tried "verify the integrity of game files" in properties. I've also tried importing norns that laid eggs in other worlds before, so I know they are fertile. I've also tried creating first gen norns with the egg layer machine. Sometimes a new world works OK and they seem to get pregnant and lay eggs for a little while then stop. This is unrelated to the population control. Something is wrong with my game :(

Is it possible you are using mods? If you are using multiple ones related to breeding it's possible that they are interfering with each other and thus causing difficulties.

It's also possible bacteria could be the culprit, but then it shouldn't be an issue when you make a new world. How long are those new worlds running before you notice they won't breed anymore?
