1. You can open the wolfing menu (CRTL-SHIFT-W) and toggle fast mode (CTRL-SHIFT-F) to speed up the game significantly and let nature take its course!

2. Despite the food chain being patched, the Stickletrout in the Norn terrarium can still die out over time, especially during long wolfing runs. An easy fix for this is to add a couple Balloon Bugs from the desert terrarium in the pond. The trout can feed on them, but they won't die.

3. You can set up a basic creature IQ test by placing your eggs in the bottom floor of the Workshop (either manually or with an addon like Egg Finder Advanced). This forces creatures to quickly find food and toys (usually in the Norn mesa) and not be distracted by the elevator switches and training dummy. This behavior will be naturally selected for, and spread to the entire population over time.

4. You can create a simple Grendel trap in the jungle terrarium by hooking up a creature detector to the piranha tank next to the Grendel egg layer, alongside a scent emitter set to emit Norn scent. Grendels will naturally look for Norns to beat up, and walk right in. Just be careful your Ettins don't steal them!

5. There are community fixes for all the default genome files that address many bugs with the originals, and make your creatures moderately smarter. I highly recommend CFF ("Creatures Full of Fixes").

6. You can restore the online capabilities of Creatures Docking Station with a fan server, with just a few simple steps. just search "eemfoo warp" online for information and instructions. (Note: this is an unofficial server, so common sense and caution is advised.)
